Phoenix Security Uniformed Officers provide superior results.  In many cases these Security Officers directly represent our clients to the general public.  Therefore we attract, screen and retain the best and brightest human talent our markets can bear.    We use enhanced behavioral assessment tools, multiple level interviews, drug tests and background screening processes.  All Uniformed Officers undergo State of Hawaii Act 208 active guard card verification and criminal background checks before employment is offered.  We not only adhere to contract security industry standards, we exceed them.

 

SECURITY OFFICER SERVICE LEVELS AND TYPES

 

Contract Security Officer Service has evolved remarkably over the last several decades. Long gone are the days of unqualified, unprofessional guards milling about aimlessly with a flashlight and coffee thermos. Today's security applications demand a number of specialties and levels of sophistication. Phoenix Security Hawaii maintains several such specialties and levels of training required for our clients. Below are the main categories;

 

LEVELS

  • Public Safety Professional - Current, Off-duty or recently retired Police Officers in Phoenix Security Hawaii uniforms.

  • Tier I Security Officer - Current or former military duty, degree or significant college coursework in criminal justice, PC832 or POST certification and high caliber customer service/problem solving/public relations skills

  • Tier II Security Officer - Extensive contract security background, supervisory experience, proven customer service skills, excellent report writing skills, years of experience at Phoenix Security Hawaii.

  • Tier III Security Officer - Basic security officer, trained to State of Hawaii Act 208 standards along with Phoenix Security Hawaii required training, basic customer service and report writing skills.

 

TYPES

  • Hospital Security and Safety Officer - IAHSS certifications available upon direction, non-violent crisis intervention certification, superior problem solving, report writing and customer service skills

  • Government Services Officer - Special background clearance, special training, high degree of reliability under pressure and professionalism in all circumstances

  • Patrol Officer - Tier I or II (depending on assignment) security officer with assigned marked patrol vehicle and special equipment

  • Secured Transport Officer - High level officer trained in non-violent crisis intervention, transport safety and high degree of reliability in all circumstances

  • Loss Prevention Agent - Specially trained and observant store detectives, proven investigative and report writing ability, able to blend in well with assigned environment

  • Executive Protection Agent - High level officer with specific law enforcement or military training for dignitaries, proven high degree of reliability under pressure and professionalism in all circumstances

  • Security Officer - General security services assignment, training and level specific to individual posting

 

Though specific types of officers and assignments are listed above, our service offerings change often to meet the needs and requirements of the market. We provide security guards who can fulfill a range of roles and responsibilities. Our professional security guards, patrol and inspect property to protect against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal activity. PSH security officers protect our client’s investments, enforce rules and regulations on property, and serve as a form of crime prevention.

 

Our security guards prepare and write comprehensive reports outlining their observations and activities during their assigned shifts.

Specific job responsibilities also vary with the size, type, and location of the client. In department stores, our security guards protect people, records, merchandise, money, and equipment. They often work with our undercover investigators to prevent theft by customers or store employees. Some of our shopping center and theater security guards patrol on bicycles in parking lots to deter car theft and robberies. In office buildings, banks, and clinics, security guards maintain order and protect the institution’s property, staff, and customers.
